We left Tasmania, stored our bikes in Sydney and visit some friends now. On 7th of February we fly to our last country of the journey - New Zealand

We, Julia and Holm, are going to cycle from Germany to New Zealand. On 1st of March 2008 we hit the road.

Furthermore we try to raise funds for Peter`s Public School in Bah / northern India. A project of Elena Erat

Julia: We spend New Year's Eve together with Hervé relatively unspectacular in Hobart. At half past midnight the people start to leave the city centre and as we were not very appealed by the party, half an hour later we are in our beds also. Some weeks ago we have met the cyclist Christopher in the Grampians NP in Victoria and he has invited us spontaneously to stay with him in Hobart. His apartment has a great view over the Derwent River and we see the arrival of the last yachts of the Sydney-Hobart yacht race.
